I'll — - , 11 <br /> : . ­ - , , f <br /> SEPTEMBER 8, 2011 - <br /> Present: Bob.and Bev Wooldridge, Trish Parolski, Marilyii Fhtebn, She-fmifi-Mert Sapers. <br /> Absent: Charles Maintanis- <br /> The meeting was called to order at 2PM in Rm 2 at Mashpec Town Hall. <br /> The Minutes of May 12, 2011 were moved by Trish, seconded by Mert. Roll call vote was taken <br /> and all in favor. <br /> Bob requested that reappointed members sign the Appointment Book for the Town Clerk's <br /> Office. <br /> The Committee unanimously agreed to have Bob Wooldridge continue as Chairman of ADA. <br /> The Committee unanimously agreed to invite Kathleen Moore on the Board to replace Bill <br /> Dundon. Kathleen needs to submit a letter of interest. i. <br /> MOTION: Trish moved, Carol seconded,to accept a verbal application from Kathleen Moore. <br /> Roll call vote was taken and all in favor. <br /> Bob will ask the Superintendent to make a recommendation from the School Department to <br /> replace Maria Hortoridis. Subsequently, Michele Brady, the Special Needs Administrator, was <br /> recommended to Bob. <br /> Wayne Taylor and Carol Sherman will read and record the warrant for the October 17 th Town it <br /> Meeting. They will record by the first Monday in October and give to Bob to distribute. <br /> Two mobi mats were purchased for South Cape Beach. $4,500 was transferred from the Hotel <br /> Account to the Beach Account. There is $5,400 total in the account. The amount of beach is <br /> now shorter than when we started, which will reduce the walkway. We may get two ramps in <br /> and set them perpendicular to each other. The ramp can be 33' and the width 5'. Bob sent the <br /> instructions to DPW. 'We will wait until the big storm passes, and test out the application for <br /> next spring. ConCorn is ok with it. Bob has talked to Heide in Leisure Services, also. It will be <br /> placed in the middle of the beach with a handicapped marker near the lifeguard. Catherine in <br /> DPW will set the date, and we will invite the press to the celebration- DPW will most likely be <br /> responsible for the maintenance. Hopefully, John's Pond will be the next site. <br /> There is new information from the Mass. Rehabilitation Commission regarding a Home <br /> Modification Loan Program available in a brochure which can be made available at Town Hall. <br /> A housing discrimination complaint was filed against Summerwood Condominium_ They <br /> relocated a parking space 90' away from the plaintiff s designated spot 6f 10' from his front door. <br /> ADA will follow this story. <br />
