3 <br /> In this connection, it was noted that the purchase of <br /> salt had been put out to bid on January 22, 1975 and was subsequently <br /> awarded to Eastern Mineral, Inc. Notification of such award was sent <br /> to Eastern Mineral, Inc. by the Highway Surveyor in his letter dated <br /> March 3, 1975• <br /> Attention is directed to the fact that the successful bidder, <br /> Eastern Mineral, Inc., received no orders for the purchase of salt from <br /> the date of the bid award.
