14. Self Insurance <br /> The Town self insures against claims for worker compensation and is <br /> z administered by the Workman's Compensation Agent. Annual estimated <br /> requirements for claims are provided in the Town's annual operating budget. <br /> The Town also maintains a self insurance program for health insurance. This <br /> program is administered by the Treasurer's Department. The Town and the <br /> employees both contribute to this program. Employee benefit claims are <br /> covered by stop loss inusurance when the claims individually, or in the <br /> aggregate, exceed certain amounts. As of June 30, 1993, the Town estimates <br /> that no material liabilities will result from employee benefit claims. <br /> 15. Post Retirement Health Care and Life Insurance Benefits <br /> P� it <br /> The Town provides health care and life insurance benefits to retirees, their <br /> dependents, or their survivors. These benefits are provided through the <br /> Town's group plans. The cost of these benefits are included in the total cost <br /> of benefits for both active and retired employees.
