4. Tax Calendar <br /> The following is a summary of the property tax calendar used for the 1994 tax <br /> levy: <br /> I <br /> June, 1993: <br /> Preliminary tax bills mailed to taxpayers. This bill is equal to one quarter <br /> of the prior year's net tax bill. <br /> ( I <br /> August, 1993: <br /> First quarter tax bills are due. All bills paid after this date are charged <br /> interest at the rate of 14% per annum. <br /> September, 1993: <br /> Preliminary tax bills mailed to taxpayers. This bill is equal to one quarter <br /> of the prior year's net tax bill. <br /> November, 1993: <br /> Second quarter tax bills are due. All bills paid after this date are charged <br /> interest at the rate of 14% per annum. <br /> December, 1993: <br /> Actual tax bills for fiscal 1994 are mailed. <br /> February, 1994: <br /> Third quarter tax bills are due. All bills paid after this date are charged <br /> interest at the rate of 14% per annum. <br /> May, 1994: <br /> Fourth quarter tax bills are due. All bills paid after this date are charged <br /> interest at the rate of 14% per annum. <br /> July, 1994: <br /> Any unpaid tax bills are turned over to the Treasurer for tax liens.
