15
Mr. Santos agreed with the fourteen days for the issuance of the new permit. However,
he doesn't want any language in the motion to allow for them to continue the process
with some type of progress being made and heading towards a conclusion. He feels that
the BOH has bent over backwards many, many times and he want to be firm on a
deadline.
Mr. Doherty interjected that after the first they would be operating without a permit,
which is a whole, other issue. Correct him if he is wrong, but he was hearing a motion
to issue a$280.00 fine for the violations as listed. The to allow the restaurant to upon
satisfactory re-inspection by the agents with all of the violations corrected prior to re-
opening and prior to the acceptance of the application for a new permit there has to be
a written plan in place with a named contract as outlined herein. Any such permit
would only be temporary as to the completion of the probationary period when the BOH
feels that everything is in good order.
Mr. Ball seconded it. Motion passed.
Mr. Neelon wanted some clarification as plan and place. He didn't know how the
consultant outfit would work. Do they actually prepare a specific written plan where the
Chens could give it to the BOH and say this is the plan?
Mr. Harrington then showed Mr. Neelon a copy of the Falmouth BOH plan that was
used.
Mr. Doherty stated that Mr. Neelon would present to the BOH and say that they do or
don't like it. If they don't like the BOH would probably give the Chens a little more time
to re-negotiate it.
Mr. Neelon asked Mr. Harrington for the name and number of the consultants. Mr.
Harrington advised him that he had a call into the state as well for information.
Being no further business, Mr. Santos made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:00
PM. Mr. Doherty seconded, all agree.
Respectfully bmitted,
Char otte A. ron, d mistrSecretary
