XI. Protests <br /> • No protest regarding the validity or appropriateness of the project specifications or of <br /> the Request for Proposals will be considered unless the protest is filed in writing with <br /> the Chief Procurement Officer( Town Administrator) prior to the deadline for <br /> submission of proposals. Should a protest be rejected or disallowed, the protestor <br /> may, within 48 hours (Saturdays, Sundays, and State Holidays excluded) appeal this <br /> decision, in writing, to the awarding authority, the Board of Selectmen. <br /> XII. General <br /> • Proposals must be unconditional. <br /> • Selection shall be subject to additional discussions and/or negotiations based on <br /> proposals received. <br /> • The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to cancel this Request for Proposals or to <br /> accept or reject any of all proposals, and to waive any informalities in the proposal <br /> process if it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town to do so. <br /> • The Town of Mashpee is an EEO/AA/MBE employer. Women and minority owned <br /> businesses are encouraged to apply. <br />
