Rockland Trust <br /> 5 Shellback Way <br /> Ground and wall signs <br /> Hazel Wood Hopkins <br /> Hazel Wood Hopkins appeared seeking approval for a number of signs at the Rockland Trust Location. <br /> Sign(1) was to replace existing sign on posts; however replacement submitted is internally lit. Ms. Hopkins <br /> was informed that internally lit signs are not allowed in Mashpee. Further, a question was raised as to whether <br /> or not the location of the sign is on Rockland property,since there is a minimum 5 foot setback from property <br /> line required. <br /> Conclusion: Not approved. To provide Site Plan to show sign location, size,and how sign will be lit. <br /> Also,suggestion made to have one post sign and make it look more traditional. <br /> Sign(2) - Front face of the building. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped Approved. <br /> Sign(16)—Over drive through. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped Approved. <br /> Sign(17)—Right-hand elevation facing Route 28. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped Approved. <br /> Banner-Opened 7 days. <br /> Conclusion: Not approved. They should get a temporary sign permit for this banner,not permanent <br /> signage. <br /> Directional Signs. <br /> Conclusion: Directions sign on billboards are not allowed. To re-apply with plan showing exactly what <br /> applicant wants to do. Ms. Hopkins said they would probably make 6 square feet or less size of signs <br /> since then no permit would be necessary. Design Review asked they keep sign contemporary style and <br /> keep directional signs off the ground.
