§2-5. Warrant. <br /> History' Amended 5-7-1984 ATM, approved by Attorney General on 9-17-1984. <br /> History' Amended 5-1-1989 STM Article 58, approved by Attorney General on <br /> 7-5-1989. <br /> History' Amended 10-2-1995 ATM, Article 22, approved by Attorney General <br /> on 12-1-1995. <br /> History' Amended 10-7-1996 ATM Article 55, approved by Attorney General <br /> on 12-9-1996. <br /> History Amended 5-5-1998 ATM, Article 36, approved by Attorney General <br /> on 8-12-1998. <br /> Every Annual and Special Town Meeting and every Annual and Special Election <br /> shall be called in pursuance to a Warrant. The Warrant shall be directed to the <br /> Constable or to some other person designated by the Board of Selectmen, who shall <br /> forthwith give notice at least thirty (30) days before such meeting or election by <br /> posting a copy of said Warrant, one (1) at Town Hall and one (1) at each of the <br /> Town bulletin boards, and by causing to be published in a newspaper of general <br /> circulation with the Town of Mashpee a copy of said Warrant. <br /> §2-6. Report to the Voters. <br /> A There shall be published for every Town Meeting a copy of the Warrant <br /> and a report to the voters which shall contain the explanation and <br /> relevant data submitted in accordance with section 2-7, together with the <br /> articles;provided however, that in the alternative and at the discretion <br /> of the Finance Committee and (with respect to zoning articles) the <br /> Planning Board voluminous supporting material necessary for <br /> consideration of the particular articles in lieu of inclusion in the report <br /> to the voters may be made reasonably available for inspection at public <br /> locations prior to Town Meeting. <br /> 4 <br />
