LEISURE SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 4, 1999 <br />MASHPEE TOWN HALL - 4:30 PM <br />Present: Absent: Also Present: <br />Scott Chausse Don McCuish Gus Frederick <br />Pat Riley Wayne Taylor <br />Pat Antonellis <br />Maryanne Macdonald <br />Due to lack of quorum, no items were voted on. The following items were <br />discussed: Gus mentioned the need for an additional computer instructor. Gus discussed <br />the idea of having the flyer distributed to other areas, i.e., Forestdale, East Falmouth, <br />• Marstons Mills, and Cotuit. Our mailing list is up to about 200. <br />Gus reminded everyone that we are still in need of advisory members. <br />Pat Riley suggested color coding some of the flyers to identify registrations. Pat Riley <br />also asked how registrations on music were kept track. <br />Gus mentioned that Friday sports would be split between 1 - 3 grades at K. C. Coombs <br />and 4 - 6 grades at Quashnet. There are about 30 -40 registrations. We have a good staff <br />for this group. <br />Don McCuish mentioned doing a family Friday night sports program. <br />A discussion took place regarding Special Olympics. Scott passed out information on <br />some of the programs that are run. Gus will meet with Grace Day. <br />May 151 and 2nd are Daffodil Days. <br />Next meeting will be held at Mashpee Town Hall on Monday, February 15` at 4:30 PM. <br />
