LEISURE SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 22, 1999 <br />MASHPEE TOWN HALL - 6:30 PM <br />Present: <br />Scott Chausse <br />Pat Antonellis <br />Wayne Taylor <br />Terre Cook <br />Absent <br />Pat Riley <br />Don McCuish <br />Also Present: <br />Gus Frederick <br />Mike Pesci <br />Mike Pietrowski <br />Meeting opened at 6:30 PM. No quorum at this time. Discussion took place. <br />Old Business — Gus spoke about the Arts and Culture Grant submitted on June 22, 1999. <br />Announcement should be made in August. <br />Mike Petriewski wanted to discuss difficulties in scheduling audio video requests. <br />AV always last to know. <br />2. Causes conflict. <br />3. Would like to have AV check -off line on Facility Request sheet. <br />Other problems - Not many people around. More time to set up between events. <br />Mike would like outside groups to meet with him. Also outside groups should see <br />facility. We need to be stricter on who uses the facility. Check list before and after use <br />to make sure equipment is in order before and after event. <br />A discussion took place about procedures. Gus Frederick suggested a special form be <br />used for use of the auditorium. Terrie Cook mentioned that there is no way for the money <br />to come back to the school. Anyone using the auditorium should have to meet with <br />technical staff. No outside agency to use school the first two weeks of June, 2000. <br />Mike Petriewski would like to see a new Form for use of technical equipment. <br />Terrie Cook mentioned that there was a big improvement having Dottie and JB at the <br />school. Gus Frederick explained that the money needed to go back to the general fund. <br />Mike Pietrowski was concerned that the AV batteries needed to be replaced constantly. <br />Gus Frederick suggested running an afternoon program to train film creativity. <br />Gus went over the summer programs being planned. <br />Don Cook has concerns about scheduling for cleaning. <br />
