He explained that the project is now in limbo. <br /> Someone has bought the mortgage but the issue is in Federal Court. The new <br /> "owners" said they are considering reducing the size of the project so they <br /> may not need all the capacity in the plant. <br /> Tom said he and Steve Greelish are the Sewer Commission and they can <br /> operate the plant as a town plant and hook up anyone they want to - there <br /> is the mechanism. <br /> Steve said the Southport plant is built and the equipment is in place but <br /> it would take at least another $200 , 000 to make it operational . <br /> Tom also explained the Southport project requires a traffic signal at the <br /> intersection of Rte 151 and Old Barnstable Rd before they complete their <br /> 500th unit. <br /> SMMA estimates the high school plant will cost about $800 , 000 . <br /> Ray said the pool will also alter the size of the sewage treatment plant. <br /> Agenda for meeting with Performing Arts Center - Tues. We want to be as helpful as we can. <br /> The Committee agreed they would like to spend some time with the architects <br /> on Tuesday before meeting with performing arts center people . <br /> The Committee will contact them and ask them to come at 5 : 00 p .m instead of <br /> 4 : 00 p.m. <br /> ** Merry Sue made a motion to adjourn at 6 : 35 p . m.
