Subparagraph 4 . 2 . 1: Revise the first clause of the first sentence to read as follows: The Architect will provide administration of the Contract as described in the Contract Documents and will be a representative of the Owner. 6. Supplementary Condition 4 . 2 . 14 : Delete the last sentence as appearing in the draft dated 12-2-94 . 7 . Subparagraph 4 . 3 . 4 : Delete the words "including arbitration" in line 2 . 8 . Supplementary Condition 4 . 3 . 8 . 3 : Delete the word "General" in line 2 (see comment below concerning supplementary condition 8 . 3 . 3) . 9. Subparagraph 6. 2 . 3 : Add the following language at the end of this subparagraph: "in accordance with the terms of the respective contracts of the parties. " 10. Supplementary Condition 8 . 3 . 3 : Revise this paragraph to read as follows: " No claim for extension of time shall be allowed on account of failure of the Architect to furnish Drawings, Specifications or instructions or to return Shop Drawings or Samples unless the Architect has failed to furnish such Drawings, Specifications or instructions for more than twenty-one days after a written demand therefor by the Contract; or has failed to return such Shop Drawings or Samples within the maximum time allowed for review of the same pursuant to subparagraph 4 . 3 .8 . 3 , and not then unless such claim be reasonable. 11. Supplementary Condition 9 . 6. 4 : As the Town has an obligation to take "reasonable steps to compel the Contractor to make. . .payment to each. . .subcontractor" (see Supplementary Subparagraph 9 . 6. 2 . 3 , G. L. c. 30, §39F) , Subparagraph 9 . 6. 4 should remain as printed in the AIA General Conditions.
