Subparagraph 4 . 3 . 4 : Delete the words "including <br /> arbitration" in line 2 . <br /> 8 . Supplementary Condition 4 . 3 . 8 . 3 : Delete the word "General" <br /> in line 2 (see comment below concerning supplementary <br /> condition 8 . 3 . 3) . <br /> 9. Subparagraph 6. 2 . 3 : Add the following language at the end <br /> of this subparagraph: <br /> "in accordance with the terms of the <br /> respective contracts of the parties. " <br /> 10. Supplementary Condition 8 . 3 . 3 : Revise this paragraph to <br /> read as follows: " <br /> No claim for extension of time shall be <br /> allowed on account of failure of the <br /> Architect to furnish Drawings, Specifications <br /> or instructions or to return Shop Drawings or <br /> Samples unless the Architect has failed to <br /> furnish such Drawings, Specifications or <br /> instructions for more than twenty-one days <br /> after a written demand therefor by the <br /> Contract; or has failed to return such Shop <br /> Drawings or Samples within the maximum time <br /> allowed for review of the same pursuant to <br /> subparagraph 4 . 3 .8 . 3 , and not then unless <br /> such claim be reasonable. <br /> 11. Supplementary Condition 9 . 6. 4 : As the Town has an <br /> obligation to take "reasonable steps to compel the <br /> Contractor to make. . .payment to each. . .subcontractor" (see <br /> Supplementary Subparagraph 9 . 6. 2 . 3 , G. L. c. 30, §39F) , <br /> Subparagraph 9 . 6. 4 should remain as printed in the AIA <br /> General Conditions. <br />
