Robert Fournier <br /> From Tom Wren <br /> Date December 6,, 1 '994 <br /> Re Mashoee High School: Outstanding Value Management Decisions <br /> Please refer to the last revised list of Schematic Stage Value Management proposals <br /> (Revision No. 4) attached to our letter addressed to the Chairman of the Building <br /> Committee, dated September 20, 1994. <br /> As noted on the covering letter, some decisions remained outstanding on the Value <br /> Management proposals when the VM Report was reviewed at the Building Committee <br /> meeting held on September 13, 1994. The proposals concerned are listed on the attached <br /> sheet. <br /> Following the issuance of the Design Review Cost Estimate, numerous decisions have <br /> been taken on new cost-saving measures as presented by yourselves on, and since, <br /> October 25. In Chartwell's estimation, the new proposals you have presented either <br /> engross or supersede the attached list of outstanding VM proposals. <br /> In view of the overlap of proposals and of the fact that the design has progressed since the <br /> VM proposals were first mooted, there would appear to be no point in considering the Value <br /> Management proposals any further. We shall be advising the Building Committee to this <br /> effect at the next meeting on December 13, 1994. <br /> If you consider that some of the VM proposals are worth retaining, we would ask that you <br /> include the same in the revised list of Design Development Stage savings proposals <br /> requested by the Building Committee at the meeting of November 29, 1994 (Item No. 2 of <br /> our most recent Action List refers). <br />
