MASHPEE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE <br /> TUESDAY, MAY 16 , 1995 <br /> TOWN HALL <br /> Members Present : Paul Griffin, Janice Mills , Merry Sue Ahlgren, <br /> Peter Dinizio , Steve Greelish, Joe Polito <br /> Also Present : Tom Wren, Ian Aitchison, Joel Seeley, Jim Byrne , <br /> Dr. Lincoln DeMoura, Mike Pietrowski , Greg Taylor <br /> Meeting convened at 4 : 07 p.m. . <br /> MINUTES <br /> ** Merry Sue made a motion to approve the minutes of April <br /> 18th and 24th. Joe seconded the motion. <br /> Tom Wren said on April 24th, pg . 9 , discussing Jack Winn not <br /> being available , amend to read he was not available for an <br /> interview. <br /> ** All members were in favor. ** <br /> CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br /> The Board of Selectmen executed the construction contract with <br /> Stone on May 8th, and issued a notice to proceed on May 9th. <br /> There was a pre-construction conference held on May 5th. <br /> Joe explained the contractor is required to submit a schedule of <br /> values 10 days before a requisition but they will not be <br /> submitting a requisition for this month. <br /> They are required to submit a preliminary schedule of work within <br /> the first 10 days , for the first 60 days of construction and they <br /> have 30 days to submit a detailed schedule for the entire <br /> project . They are working on the preliminary schedule . <br /> The first progress meeting will be held on May 23rd at 8 : 00 a.m. <br /> at town hall until the contractor has a trailer set up. <br /> Joel proposed the Building Committee meet on the last Tuesday of <br /> the month and the progress meetings will be held 1 week earlier <br /> ( 3rd Tuesday of the month) . At that meeting the contractor will <br /> submit their draft requisition, it will be reviewed by SMMA and <br /> Chartwell , corrected and the final requisition will be submitted <br /> to the Building Committee the following week ( last Tuesday of the <br /> month) . <br /> Paul requested the progress meeting be held on Wednesday <br /> mornings , so he can attend , if necessary. That is OK with Joel . <br /> They will be held on the first and third Wednesday' s of the <br /> month. <br /> The Building Committee will meet definitely on the last Tuesday <br /> of the month, and possibly more often on an as needed basis . <br /> (Definite meeting dates of June 27th and July 25th) <br /> 1 <br />
