They provided <br /> Continental with a plan and specs and they will look at their <br /> numbers and get back to the Committee shortly to see if they can <br /> do the cabling/wiring . <br /> Paul said that SMMA should advise the Committee of the impact of <br /> this . <br /> Jim Byrne explained TCI cable company did the wiring in the <br /> Yarmouth school and they took money back from the electricians ' s <br /> bid. <br /> Joel explained he has received all comments on the RFP for the <br /> third phase of technology consultant . It will be sent to 3 <br /> consultants this week: Childs , CCR and Brooks Fleming . They will <br /> have 2 weeks to respond . <br /> Paul explained that the Committee has asked for a schedule of <br /> when things would happen for FF&E . <br /> Joel said Tavares was waiting for the principal to be on board to <br /> do the final decision making. <br /> Paul said he should get a draft schedule going , prepare it by <br /> backing up from the September opening date. <br /> Joe Polito asked if the 3 candidates will make a presentation <br /> before this Committee? <br /> Joe said they will respond to the RFP and then the Committee will <br /> have their responses . <br /> Paul asked if is a fixed fee? It is . <br /> Mike said he noticed on the plans there are doors between the <br /> classrooms and the TV is in that corner. He is concerned about <br /> the angles , for the students to see it and damage from the doors . <br /> Ed said it was placed there for ultimate flexibility. <br /> Paul said the Committee has reviewed a classroom sketch and were <br /> happy with the layout . He does not want to issue any changes <br /> unless it is a major problem. <br /> Ed will review it to confirm it is not a problem and get back to <br /> the Committee . <br /> Tom Wren said he received 14 questions form the technology <br /> subcommittee that have been past onto SMMA. <br /> Paul would like Steve Greelish to review those comments first and <br /> make sure he is in agreement . He does not want to send anything <br /> to the architects that the Committee has not blessed off on. <br /> 2 <br />
