** All members were in favor of the motion 7-0 . <br /> The budget will have to be re-figured because that takes square footage out <br /> of the building . <br /> Phil said he was told something different that what Paul was told about the <br /> amount of reimbursement. If the increase is voted in by the State House, <br /> this Committee could get that amount if it is done before a contract is <br /> signed . He was only told this , does not have it in writing . <br /> The Committee prioritized the Alternates list ( in the order they want them <br /> to go back into the project) : <br /> final priority <br /> football & track stadium 1 2 <br /> softball and baseball fields 2 1 <br /> air conditioning- auditorium 3 5 <br /> basketball and tennis courts 4 4 <br /> gym bleachers 5 3 <br /> carpet in classrooms 6 6 <br /> 100 additional parking spaces 7 7 <br /> auxiliary gym 8 8 <br /> Paul suggested putting softball and baseball fields back before football . <br /> Merry Sue would like to see more multiple use fields . <br /> Ed reminded them you loose the opportunity for track and field when you <br /> eliminate the football stadium. <br /> ** The Committee agreed to reverse 1 and 2 . <br /> Merry Sue would like to see the gym bleachers higher up on the list, it is <br /> the only place that will seat the entire school . They were moved up to #3 . <br /> Steve advised the Committee not to vote on this list, to reach consensus <br /> Dut not vote. He wants to wait to see the other items the architects will <br /> ring . <br /> **Joe made a motion to accept this priority order for the alternates . <br /> Merry Sue seconded the motion . <br /> aul explained , when the bids come in, it is the Committee ' s option to take <br /> he alternate or not, but it has to be done in this order. <br /> he Committee reviewed a prior list of suggested alternatives and decided <br /> o add irrigation as #9 and another rectangular field as #10 . <br /> ** Joe amended the motion to add #9 and #10 . 6 members were in favor , <br /> Steve was against. ** <br /> Ian said the site clearing an grubbing has a pre-bid conference scheduled <br /> or Thursday , should they proceed with. that? <br /> Phil said the early site clearing is for the building and immediate area <br /> around it.
