The latest delivery date for steel is Sept . 18th.
He said the loam will be spread in time for the fields to be
seeded. The landscaping sub contractor gave Stone a major extra
2 weeks ago and they had to resolve that before it could move
ahead. They have scheduled the delivery of peat and were told it
would be done by the 6th.
Paul told Mr. Barthelmes that Stone did not follow their own
letter (action letter) . He wants a letter from David Patrick
explaining how this will get resolved. They won' t get paid form Stone if
they do not receive it , just as Stone won' t get paid from the
town.
Receipt for materials - Tom Wren said they have now received it .
Mr. Barthelmes said they will put their requisition together 2
weeks ahead of time so all the paperwork is in order for the
meeting.
Paul said he has been advised, if the paperwork is not in order
the Town should not pay Stone . He will not hold special meetings
just to pay them because their paperwork was late .
He said this job has not gone right from the start . They will
get it on track in the next few weeks . David Patrick better come
up with a solution fast .
Peter agreed that the job did not get off to a right start , from
the site clearing , to getting a project manager on site.
Request for Change Order: according to the specs, Stone should
return them within 20 •days . Stone has asked for an additional 4
weeks. Paul asked what the problem is?
Mr. Barthelmes said it takes a long time to get the information
out to the subs. They have to get the drawings reproduced, which
they send out and it takes 1 week. They then received an
additional addendum on one of the changes. He has been spending
his time trying to get these other issue resolved.
Paul said he is going to ask the Committee to meet again because
they will not vote on the requisition tonight .
