MASHPEE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE <br /> TUESDAY , FEBRUARY 28 , 1995 <br /> TOWN HALL <br /> Members Present: Bill Martiros, Steve Greelish , Paul Griffin , Peter <br /> Dinizio, Merry Sue Ahlgren , Joe Polito <br /> Also Present: Ian Aitchison , Tom Wren , Phil Poinelli , Mike Pietrowski , Dr . <br /> DeMoura, Dr. Elizabeth Petti , Bill Hauck , Gus Fredricks, Manny Tavares <br /> Meeting convened at 4: 05 p. m. <br /> MINUTES <br /> ** Merry Sue made a motion to approve the minutes of February 7 and <br /> 14 . Joe seconded the motion. <br /> Tom Wren said Feb. 14, pg 2 minutes say Joel Seeley said the CCTV conduit <br /> and cabling is in the building . Tom is not sure that is the case. <br /> Paul agreed that was not what was said at last night' s meeting with the <br /> Selectmen . He asked Phil to check on it. <br /> ** All members were in favor 6-0** <br /> Steve thought fixed cabling was included in the building estimate but <br /> again , that was not what wa said last night. He needs clarification . <br /> Joe said he was concerned when he heard it was in FF & E . <br /> Phil will get clarification . <br /> Paul said it is in the specs- subsection of 1600 but has it been included <br /> in the estimate . <br /> Steve thinks things are leaking out of the main contract and into FF&E . <br /> - Paul told Phil that Town Counsel has asked for a breakdown of CCR ' s work ; <br /> show how they derived that price . <br /> - Bill Hauck presented a list of items he us asking SMMA to look at. A lot <br /> of the comments may have been addressed in the new set of drawings which <br /> Bill has not seen yet. <br /> Joe asked if Joel looked at his comments on the 80% drawings? <br /> Phil does not know if those comments have or have not been addressed . <br /> - Letter for Barnstable County Department of Health - regarding the air <br /> quality in the building . They would like to see a minimum of 20 cubic <br /> feet per person . Phil said it is presently above the ASHRA standard . <br /> -Letter from Chartwell re: a meeting with John O' Brien . Ian was told there <br /> are Federal Funds available to help support the technology if Mashpee joins <br /> with other schools or colleges in the area. Steve will follow up on this. <br /> - Richard Purrier, works for the school department had some comments on the <br /> drawings. Loading dock question . Phil explained the loading dock no longer <br /> exists . There will be a portable , hydraulic lift. <br /> Mr. Purrier asked where he could repair equipment, if there is no outside <br /> building? The Committee explained there is now a grounds equipment <br /> building , near the STP. <br /> He had a question on the sprinklers . Phil explained every space if fully <br /> 1 <br />
