EARLY CLOSING
A decision to close early should be made by 10:30am except in the case of an unforeseen emergency.
We will normally close two hours early at all schools from their regularly scheduled dismissal times.
All students in PK-2 will have their parents/guardians called to notify them of the early closing. If we
are unable to reach them, their child(ren) will be kept at the Kenneth C. Coombs School's cafetorium
until they are able to be picked up.
Early Closing Schedule
K-2 12:55pm
3-6 12:50pm
7-12 11:45am
If, after students have already arrived at school, a decision is made to sent students home early due to an
emergency situations, parents/guardians will be notified through our Connect Ed computerized
notification system.
