i Resident/Taxpayer Special Oyster Permit 15.00 6 <br /> Non-Residenu Taxpayer Special Oyster Permit 30.00 <br /> 7 <br /> Commercial Permits 75.00 <br /> Aquaculture Grant Area (per acre or part thereof) 20.00 <br /> 1) Shellfish Permits are not transferable to persons other than those allowed under the following definitions: 8 <br /> a. Non-Commercial (Family) Permits issued to a single majority-aged adult or to the head of a household <br /> for the express use of obtaining shellfish for personal use.Shellfish obtained under this permit may noc <br /> be sold or traded for other considerations. A family permit is for the use of the permit holder, his or her <br /> spouse and their minor aged children living and domiciled under their roof. Children under the age of <br /> sixteen must be accompanied by an adult member of the family. Only one permit issued to a family. <br /> Resident/Taxpayer permits are issued to persons who own a home, condominium or property in the <br /> Town of Mashpee and pays taxes to the Town, or who is a resident and domiciled in the Town. Proof <br /> of residency or ownership will be required to obtain a permit. <br /> Senior Citizen Resident/Taxpayer permits are issued to persons who are eligible under the above <br />' requirements and who will reach the age of 62 (sixty-two)before April 2, 1992. (Birthday must fall on <br /> or before 3/31/30). <br /> ' Non-Resident/Taxpayer permits are issued to an individual or head of a household who is a resident and <br /> ti domiciled in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Proof of Mass.residency will be required to obtain <br /> a permit. <br /> b. Commercial Pei�its issued to an individual who wishes to harvest shellfish for the purpose of sale or <br /> other consideration. Said individual must be sixteen years of age or older and be domiciled or a full-time <br /> resident of the Town of Mashpee. Proof of residency will be required in order to obtain a permit. A <br /> current valid State of Massachusetts Bed Certificate (State Commercial Shellfish llfsh Perini <br /> t <br /> ) must be <br /> obtained and presented prior to obtaining a Mashpee Commercial Permit. <br /> I c. Special Oyster Permits issued to individuals for the express purpose of harvesting oyster under a special <br /> k program of oyster propagation conducted by the Mashpee Shellfish Department, under special <br /> regulations issued by the Board of Selectmen. These permits are subject to the residency/taxpayer <br /> requirements and qualifications outlined under regular family permits. It is not necessary to obtain any <br /> other shellfish permit in order to obtain a Special Oyster Permit. Oysters obtained under this permit are <br /> for non-commercial use and are not to be sold or traded for other considerations. <br /> c <br /> ARTICLE III. GENERAL REGULATIONS <br /> '! 1) No shellfishing activity or landing of shellfish may occur during the hours after sunset and before sunrise on <br /> the following day. <br /> 2) Any person(s) engaged in shellfishing or having shellfish in their possession must have on their person a <br /> valid Mashpee Shellfish Permit and a two inch shellfish-measuring ring. <br /> 3) Shellfish permits must be worn in a visible location on the permit holder's clothing or be immediately <br /> available to the permit holder while engaged in shellfishing or having shellfish in their possession. <br /> 4) Any person(s) engaged in shellfishing or having shellfish in their possession must present a valid Mashpee <br /> Shellfish Permit and a two inch shellfish measuring ring to any Mashpee Shellfish Constable, Deputy <br /> Constable or Mashpee Police Officer on demand. <br /> 5) Any person(s) engaged in shellfishing or having shellfish in their possession must display their catch for <br /> inspection to any Mashpee Shellfish Constable,Deputy Constable or Mashpee Police Officer on demand. <br />
