Resident/Taxpayer Special Oyster Permit 15.00 <br /> Non-Resident/Faxpayer Special Oyster Permit 30.00 <br /> Commercial Permits 75.00 <br /> 1) Shellfish Permits are not transferable to persons other than those allowed under the following definitions: <br /> a. Non-Commercial (Family) Permits issued to a single majority-aged adult or to the head of a household <br /> for the express use of obtaining shellfish fbr personal use.Shellfish obtained under this permit may not <br /> be sold or traded for other considerations. A family permit is for the use of the permit holder,his or her <br /> spouse and their minor aged children living and domiciled under their roof. Children under the age of <br /> sixteen must be accompanied by an adult member of the family. Only one permit issued to a family. <br /> Resident/Taxpayer permits are issued to persons who own a home, condominium or property in the <br /> Town of Mashpee and pays taxes to the Town, or who is a resident and domiciled in the Town. Proof <br /> of residency or uwnership will be required to obtain a permit. <br /> Senior Citiz.cn Resident/Taxpaver permits are issued to persons who are eligible under the above <br /> requirements and who will reach the age of 62 (sixty-two) before March 1, 1993. (Birthday must fall on <br /> or before 2/29/30). <br /> Non-ResidentlTaxP a.Y er permits are issued to an individual or head of a household who is a resident and <br /> domiciled in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Proof of Mass.residency will be required to obtain <br /> a permit. <br /> b. Commercial Permits issued to an individual who wishes to harvest shellfish for the purpose of sale or <br /> other consideration. Said individual must be sixteen years of age or older and be domiciled or a full-time <br /> resident of the Town of Mashpee. Proof of residency will be required in order to obtain a permit. A <br /> current valid State of Massachusetts Bed Certificate (State Commercial Shellfish Permit) must be <br /> obtained and presented prior to obtaining a Mashpee Commercial Permit. <br /> c. pecial Oyster Permits issued to individuals for the express purpose of harvesting oyster under a special <br /> program of oyster propagation conducted by the Mashpee Shellfish Department, under special.... <br /> regulations issued by the Board of Selectmen. These permits are subject to the residency/taxpayer 4 <br /> requirements and qualifications outlined under regular family permits. It is not necessary to obtain any <br /> other shellfish permit in order to obtain a Special Oyster Permit.
