x <br /> (15) Continued f <br /> east of the state beach in the area of Great Flat Pond and A- ,,i <br /> shall consist of approximately 30 acres and shall have an <br /> ocean frontage of approximately 1700 linear feet. (Map ` + 4i;'� <br /> attached and incorporated by reference "Exhibit B") . :? <br /> (16) That the town regards as recreation/conservation lands , <br /> all properties which may be transferred to the Department <br /> in any land exchange in conjunction with the establishment <br /> of the Park. <br /> (17) That the Department will reserve a suitable site on Great <br /> River, Waquoit Bay for future use and development by the <br /> Town of Mashpee for construction for a boat launch/pier <br /> facility, the metes and bounds to be mutually agreed upon <br /> by the Town of Mashpee and the Department. The area, or <br /> site, . is to be no less than 10 acres with access to and <br /> from Wills Work Road. The Department will construct an i <br /> improved access road to said facility and will seek on be- <br /> half of the Town of Mashpee such state funds that are <br /> available for municipal boat launching facilities . In <br /> furtherance of the above, the Department will initiate and <br /> support legislation transferring title of said site to the <br /> Town of Mashpee. In the event such legislation fails of <br /> passage, the Department will lease such land to the Town i <br /> of a Mashpee for period of ninety-nine a•� <br /> P p y-nine years for nominal <br /> consideration of one dollar. <br /> (18) That the Department shall at all times continue to recognize <br /> a South Cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee comprised <br /> of eleven (11) voting members and four (4) ex-officio, <br /> non-voting members. The voting membership of the Committee <br /> shall consist of the following eight (8) residents of or <br /> representatives for the Town to be appointed by the Board <br /> of Selectmen of the Town, and one (1) resident of or li, . F <br /> representative for the Town of Sandwich, Falmouth, and <br /> Barnstable to be appointed by those respective Boards of <br /> Selectmen. The non-voting membership of the Committee shall <br /> consist of one (1) representative each from the Office of <br /> Coastal Zone Management and the Department of Fisheries , i . <br /> Wildlife and Recreational Vehicles to be appointed by their <br /> respective agency heads, together with the sitting State <br /> Representative of the Third Barnstable Representative <br /> District and the State Senator from the Cape and Islands I <br /> Senatorial District. All succeeding members shall be <br /> appointed in the same manner as stated above. The terms <br /> of all voting members shall be (3) years.
