facilities in compliance.with Mashpee Board of Health <br /> I Regulations and Massachusetts Fire Prevention Regula- <br /> tions shall be deemed to be in compliance with this <br /> standard. <br /> 5. 1.4 No toxic or hazardous materials shall be present in wastes <br /> disposed on the site. Wastes composed in part or entirely <br /> of toxic or hazardous materials shall be retained in <br /> product tight containers for removal and disposal by a <br /> licensed scavanger service or as directed by the Board <br /> of Health. <br /> 5. 1. 5 Contaminant levels in groundwater resulting from disposal <br /> of process wastes from operations other than personal <br /> hygiene and food from residents , patrons and employees <br /> or from wastewater treatment and disposal systems greater <br /> then 15,000 gallons per day capacity shall not exceed <br /> those levels specified in Tables C and E of the "Drinking <br /> Water Regulations of Massachusetts" (DEQE, June 15, 1977 ) ,. <br /> after allowing for dilution by natural recharge on the <br /> premises. If higher, backgound levels of individual <br /> constituents in the groundwater shall not be exceeded. <br /> 5. 1 .6 All runoff from impervious surfaces shall be recharged <br /> on the site , diverted toward areas covered with vegetation <br /> for surface infiltration to the extent possible. Dry wells <br /> shall be used only where other methods- are infeasible, <br /> and shall be preceded by oil , grease and sediment traps <br /> to facilitate removal of contaminated solids. In the <br /> vicinity of chemical or fuel delivery points, provision <br /> must be made for spill control . <br /> 5. 1 . 7 Sand and gravel removal operations shall be limited in <br /> depth so that the depth to the water table will not be <br /> less than eight (8' ) feet at any time. Land area <br /> exposed at any one time shall be minimized and land shall <br /> .be returned to a natural vegetative state within one year <br /> of completion of operations . <br /> 5. 1.8 Where the premises are partially outside of the Water <br /> Resource District , such potential pollution sources as <br /> on-site waste disposal systems shall , to the strictest <br /> degree possible , be located outside the District , and to <br /> the downside of the water slope. <br /> 6. Water Quality Review <br /> 6. 1 Water Quality Review Committee . There is hereby established <br /> a Water Quality Review Committee , comprising one representative <br /> each appointed from time to time by the Board of Selectmen, <br /> Board of Health, Planning Board, Conservation Commission and <br /> the Board of Appeals. <br /> 6.2 Certificate of Water Quality Compliance. A certificate of <br /> Water Quality Compliance shall be obtained by the owner of <br /> the premises from the Water Quality Review Committee or, for <br /> Special Permit uses , from the Board of Appeals, for the <br /> t <br /> _4_ <br />
