4 <br /> c 15: To see if the Town will vote to authorize= ——.- <br /> the Board of Seiectmen to acquire by <br /> = <br /> q purchase for con _ — -- <br /> servati'on „purposes all , or a major portion , of a parcel <br /> of land of approximately 20 . 3 acres, generally described <br /> as on the west side of the Mashpee River between River <br /> Road and said river , bounded on the south by land now or <br /> formerly of Janis Dreyer and on the north by land now or <br /> formerly of Fields Point Manufacturing Corporation and <br /> of River Ridge Trust , .p.the said land to bg held in the <br /> care and custody of the Conservation Commission , pur— <br /> suant to General Laws Chapter 40 , SectiVn 8C ; further , <br /> to see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of <br /> money for such purpose , including expenses incidental <br /> and related thereto, and to raise such appropriation , <br /> the Treasurer , with the approval of the Selectmen , be <br /> authorized to borrow said sum of money under and pur— <br /> suant to Chapter 44, Section 7 (3) , and, if applicable , <br /> Section SC, of the General Laws, or any other enabling <br /> authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town <br /> therefor ; and still further to see if the Town will -- - <br /> vote <br /> ill-- -vote to raise and appropriate or transfer, from available <br /> funds an additional sum of money to the Interest on <br /> Temporary Loans Account and a further sum of money to <br /> the Issuance on Debt Account ; further , to see if the <br /> Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen and/or <br /> Conservation Ccmmission to apply for and accept Federal <br /> and/or State grants including reimbursement under <br /> Chapter 132A, Section 11 of the General Laws, to be <br /> applied by the Town toward the financing of this purchase , <br /> and to enter into contracts and agreements with Federal <br /> and/or State agencies, private conservation trusts, or <br /> other entities or persons in connection with the purchase <br /> and preservation for conservation purposes of all or a <br /> major protion of such land; and finally, to see if the <br /> Town will authorize the Conservation Commission and the <br /> Board of Selectmen to enter into agreements and execute any <br /> and all instruments as may be necessary on behalf of the <br /> Town to effectuate said purchase ; or take any other action <br /> related thereto. <br /> Submitted by Board of Selectmen <br />
