i <br /> t�H'1I �:1_F 18: To see if the Town wi 1 I vote to amend the <br /> Town by-taws by adding the following Article 4. 12, <br /> Articl,e 4. 12 NUMBERING OF BUILDINGS <br /> 4. 12. 1 The Selectmen may require , de- <br /> termine, and prescribe the numbering, <br /> cfianges in numbering and renumbering of <br /> buildings on or near the lines of any and <br /> all public and private ways within the <br /> Town whenever , in their opinion , public <br /> convenience and necessity may so require , <br /> and may prescribe the method and by wham <br /> it may be done . <br /> 4. 12.2 The Selectmen may procure and pro- <br /> vide numbers of suitable material and design, <br /> and may cause or order the same to be affixed <br /> to such said buildings , along such ways and <br /> in such manner as they may determine and they <br /> may require the owners or occupants of such <br /> buildings to reimburse the Town for the ex- <br /> pense thereby incurred . <br /> 4. 12 . 3 Owners or occupants of particular <br /> buildings may a++ ix and maintain thereon , <br /> numbers and numbering devices of special <br /> material and design , provided a permit in <br /> writing therefor has + irst been obtained <br /> from the Selectmen . <br /> 4. 12 . 4 No person shall willfully remove , <br /> Je+are or Change numoers or numbering devices <br /> Placed upon ouildings under the provisions <br /> of -his ordinance ; and no person shall affix <br /> or maintain numoers or numbering devices on <br /> buildings along the lines of public or private <br /> ways in violation o+ the provisions of this <br /> Ordinance . <br /> 4. 12 . 5 The Selectmen may make reasonable rules <br /> anc regulations to take effect when filed with <br /> -ne -own Clerk and atter publication in a news- <br /> , ie— oublished in the Town , relative to the <br /> ring , changes in numbering and renumbering <br /> n+ =u , ' dings along the lines of public and <br /> or : :zce ways . <br /> 4. 12. 0 Whoever violates any provision of this <br /> ?rdinance , or any order , rule or regulation <br /> made by the Board o+ 'Selectmen under authority <br /> of tn , s Ordinance , shall be punished by a fine <br /> not to exceed fi = ty (b50 . 00 ) dollars. <br /> ; .' _ ^i .. ?'_ . . . . .... . -_ ... . . ..... . . . . . . . . . . . . . d� <br />
