To see if the Town will vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen anc <br /> Conservation Commission to grant to the Mashpee Water District an easement over <br /> a portion of Town owned land shown on the 1993 Mashpee Assessors Map as Map 43, <br /> parcel 2, and more specifically described on a plan of land entitled "Site Plan <br /> of Land in Mashpee, Mass. prepared for the Water District" , dated June 9, 1992 <br /> and revised on July 30, 1993, prepared by Eagle Surveying & Engineering, Inc. , <br /> 10 Seaboard Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601, which is on file in the Town Clerk' s <br /> office, and Mashpee Water District office, for the purpose of development, <br /> installation and maintenance of well sites and water distribution system to <br /> secure supply of municipal water, on such terms and conditions as the Board of <br /> Selectmen determine to be in the best interest of the inhabitants of the Town. <br /> Submitted by the Mashpee Water District <br /> Motion to accept Article 39 as printed in the warrant. <br /> Motion carries unanimously by voice vote. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 10:47 p.m. (5/3) <br /> Article 40. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 138, <br /> Section 17B which provides for the conversion of seasonal all alcoholic beverage <br /> and wine and malt package store licenses to annual all alcoholic store licenses <br /> at the rate of one conversion per year. Comments. a "yes" vote on this article <br /> would allow the holder of a seasonal all alcoholic beverage or wine and malt <br /> beverage store license to apply the Board of Selectmen for an annual all <br /> alcoholic beverages package store license. The Selectmen would be allowed to <br /> issue one such a license per year in excess of the quota contained in the law, <br /> provided that the licensee turn in its existing license and the number of <br /> seasonal licenses is reduced by one.
