The Moderator paid tribute to Police <br /> Chief Curtis W. Frye who is retiring in January. <br /> Barnstable, as : Greetings <br /> To the Constables of the Town, <br /> r <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to <br /> notify and summon the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to <br /> vote in the elections to meet at the Mashpee Middle School on Monday, the 3rd <br /> day of October 1994 at 7 :30 p.m. for the following purpose. <br /> z To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant: <br /> Article 1 <br /> " To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of money for the <br /> purchase of a data processing system for the various Town offices, including <br /> hardware, software, installation, cabling, data conversion, training, initial <br /> supplies and materials and all other costs incidental and related thereto, and <br /> to authorize the Board of Selectmen to enter into an agreement therefor for a <br /> period in excess of three years. <br /> Submitted by Board of Selectmen <br /> Motion: The Town vote to appropriate and transfer $60,000 from Overlay <br /> Surplus Account to the 1995 Data Processing Computer Account for the purchase <br /> of a data processing system for the various Town offices, including hardware, <br /> software, installation, cabling, data conversion, training, ititial supplies <br /> and materials and all other costs incidental and related thereto, and to <br /> authorize the Board of Selectmen to enter into an agreement therefor for a <br /> period in excess of three years. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends Article 1. <br /> Motion carries. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .8:11 P.M. <br /> Article 2 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate of transfer from <br /> availabe funds $2,228.51 to pay previous fiscal year unpaid bills as follows: <br /> Friedman & Atherton $1,278.93 <br /> Falmouth Hospital 195. 30 <br /> Paul Bryant 167.50 <br /> Arden Cadrin 160.20 <br /> West Publishing 116. 50 <br />
