Article 53. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town of Mashpee Code by striking Chapter 15,Article VII, Section 15-18 and inserting in place thereto the following language: i i "A. The Committee shall prepare, by the first Monday in February, an annual written report containing a Capital Improvement Program Budget of such outlays for the first year for presentation to the Finance Committee. The Finance Committee will include said report from the Capital Improvement Committee, including explanations, in its report to the Spring Annual Town Meeting. The Finance Committee will submit an article to the Board of Selectmen for inclusion in the warrant of the budget for capital outlays as recommended by the Capital Improvement Committee. B. The Committee shall also prepare a Capital Improvement Program for the following three (3) years for presentation to the Finance Committee. The Finance Committee will include said report from the Capital Improvement Committee, including explanations, in its report to the Spring Annual Town Meeting. The Finance Committee will submit an article to the Board of Selectmen for inclusion in the warrant for the Capital Improvement Program for the following three (3) years as recommended by the Capital Improvement Committee. C. The Committee may make such investigations and hold such hearings as it may deem necessary but shall hold at least one (1) public hearing annually during the Committee's deliberations on capital projects, said hearing to be held following notice published in a newspaper of general circulation in the Town.", or take any other action relating thereto. i Submitted by Petition Motion: Article be voted as written in the warrant except for the phrase, "or taking any j other action relating thereto". To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town of Mashpee Code by inserting at the end of Chapter 40,Article I, Section 40-4 the following language: "The Finance Committee, in accordance with the requirement to make recommendations to the Town (Chapter 5, Article III, Section 5-9) shall publish and distribute to every household in Mashpee a copy of said warrant and Finance Committee Report by the third Monday of the month preceding the Town Meeting." or take any other action relating thereto.
