ii� ZOO Road, to be held in the care and custody of the Conservation Commission pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 8C; and further, that $500,000 be. appropriated for such purpose, including expenses incidental and related thereto, and to raise such appropriation, the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen be authorized to borrow $500,000 under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Sections 7 and 8C and if applicable, Chapter 40, Section 8C, of the General Laws, or any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor, provided that no bonds or notes of the Town shall be issued unless and until grant agreement has been executed between the Town and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for reimbursement to the Town in the amount of at least $250,000 under MGL Chapter 132A, Section 11, or any other applicable law; and further that $500 be transferred from revenue available for appropriation to the Issuance of Debt Account; and further that the Board'of Selectmen and/or Conservation Commission be authorized to apply for and accept Federal and/or State grants, including reimbursement under Chapter 132A, Section 11 of the General Laws, the "Self-Help Act," to be applied by the Town toward the financing of this purchase, and to enter into contracts or agreements with Federal and/or State agencies, private conservation trusts or other entities or persons in connection with the purchase of such land and its preservation for conservation purposes; and finally that the Conservation Commission and the Board of Selectmen be authorized to enter into agreements and execute any and all instruments as may be necessary on behalf of the Town to effectuate said acquisition. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Mashpee Code Chapter 174, the Zoning By-law to correct the title of the Waterways Commission as follows: Section 174-24, page 17427 Paragraph 4 - In the third and fourth lines, change the words "Waterways Committee" to "Waterways Commission" Paragraph 5 - In the 16th line, change the words "Waterways Committee" to "Waterways Commission" Section 174-25, page 17438 Change the words "Inland and Coastal Waterways Committee" to "Waterways Commission".
