I I May 7, 1997 Meeting opened 7:35 p.m. 250 voters in attendance. Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $3,000 to the Town Clerk Expense Account. Submitted by the Town Clerk Explanation: There is a need to have the vault, located in the Town Clerk's office, fitted with shelving that will insure no harm would come to someone obtaining records in the vault. By going out to bid, the Town will comply with Massachusetts procurement laws. Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Selectman Dinizio. Motion: I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate $3,000 to the Town Clerk's Expense Account. Motion passes at 7:36 p.m. Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to approve the annual regional school district budget for the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1997, in the amount of $6,566,777, and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $431,906 to meet its share of the cost of operation and maintenance of the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1997. Submitted by Treasurer/Tax Collector Explanation: Mashpee's share of the Regional Technical High School budget is $431,906. There are 51 students from Mashpee at the Regional Technical High School. Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval.
