I <br /> i <br /> Anticipated Budget: <br /> Revenues: $22,000 <br /> Expenditures: $22,000 <br /> This account will be managed by Leisure Services through its agent. <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to re-authorize a revolving Leisure Services Account through the <br /> Town Accountant's office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 44, Section <br /> 53E 1/2, to be expended under the direction of the Leisure Services Department, in order to place <br /> anticipated revenues collected from program income which shall be used to further the operation, <br /> of programs under the Leisure Services Department, and to establish the limit on expenditures <br /> from said account for Fiscal Year 1998 at$22,000. <br /> Motion passes at 7:56 p.m. <br /> Article 16. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, borrow, or transfer from available funds <br /> $446,419.00 to provide for road improvement projects under Chapter 113 of the Acts of 1996 of <br /> the General Laws. <br /> Submitted by the Department of Public.Works <br /> Explanation: This article authorizes the use of State grant funds for Fiscal Year 1998, often <br /> referred to as Chapter 90 funds. The Town of Mashpee is 100% reimbursed for the use of funds <br /> for roadway improvements. These revenues are from the gas tax as apportioned back to cities <br /> and towns. <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to complete road improvement projects under Chapter 113 of the <br /> Acts of 1996 of the General Laws, and for said purposes and for expenses incidental and related <br /> thereto, the Town vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Board of Selectmen to <br /> borrow$446,419 at one time or from time to time pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 6. <br /> Motion passes at 7:57 p.m. <br /> Article 17. <br /> i <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $4,500 to <br /> the Herring Warden's Account. <br />
