Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion to be made by Ken Marsters. Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer $28,300 from revenue available for appropriation to the Trash Expense Account. Motion passes unanimously at 9:03 p.m. Article 20. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer$20,000 from the Quinaquisset Bridge Account to the Quinaquisset Road Account or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by Department of Public Works Explanation: This article seeks to transfer funds set aside at a previous town meeting for the repair of the Quinaquisset Bridge. The bridge will be repaired with 100% of the cost paid by the State. The funds previously reserved for the bridge will be used to make necessary repairs to Quinaquisset Road to augment the bridge repairs. !' Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion to be made by Nancy Caffyn. Motion: I move the Town vote to transfer $20,000 from the Quinaquisset Bridge Account to the Quinaquisset Road Account. Motion passes at 9:04 p.m. I Article 21. To see if the Town will vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen to prepare a plan laying out and defining the Ashers Heights Development and to accomplish said purpose and for expenses incidental and related thereto, the Town vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from funds available for appropriation a sum of money to the Ashers Height Development Account and to raise said appropriation the Treasurer with the approval of the Board of Selectmen be authorized to borrow at one time, or from time to time, a sum of money under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 7 or 8 or any other enabling authority and to issue bonds and notes of the Town therefor, and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds a sum of money to the Ashers Heights Road Account to provide interest and debt issuance expenses, or take any other action relating thereto.
