i <br /> suspend any local license or permit, including renewals and transfers, for any person, <br /> corporation or business enterprise who has neglected or refused to pay any local taxes, =" <br /> fees, assessments, betterments or any other municipal charges." <br /> by adding the following new text to the end of the section: <br /> "...or with respect to any activity, event or other matter which is subject of such license <br /> or permit and which activity, event or matter is carried out or exercised or is to be carried <br /> out or exercised on or about any real estate whose owner has neglected or refused to pay <br /> any local taxes, fees, assessments, betterments or any other municipal charges." <br /> and further to see if the Town will vote to amend 112-3 of Chapter 112 of the Town Code by <br /> deleting the first sentence of said section which states: <br /> The licensing authority may deny, revoke or suspend any license or permit, including <br /> renewals and transfers, of any part whose name appears on said list furnished to the <br /> licensing authority from the Tax Collector; provided, however, that written notice is <br /> given to the party and Tax Collector, as required by the applicable provisions of law, and <br /> said party is given a hearing, to be held not earlier than fourteen (14) days after said <br /> notice." i <br /> and inserting in its place in 112-13 the following first sentence: <br /> "The Licensing authority may deny, revoke or suspend any license or permit, including <br /> renewals and transfers, of any party whose name appears on said list furnished to the <br /> licensing authority from the Tax Collector or with respect to any activity, event or other <br /> matter which is the subject of such license or permit and which activity, event or matter <br /> is carried out or exercised on or about real estate owned by any party whose name <br /> appears on said list furnished to the licensing authority from the Tax Collector; provided, <br /> however, that written notice is given to the party and the Tax Collector, as required b <br /> q y f. <br /> applicable provisions of law, and the party is given a hearing, to be held not earlier than <br /> fourteen (14) days after said notice." <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Petition. <br /> Motion: Motion made by Jeff Arnold to accept except for the sentence or take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Motion passes at 9:38 p.m. <br /> Motion to adjourn passes 9:38PM. <br /> i <br /> �Y <br /> kS <br /> SJ <br />
