Explanation: This article seeks to place a portion of available unencumbered <br /> funds into the Town's Stabilization Fund for future use. Future use of <br /> Stabilization Funds require a 2/3 vote of Town Meeting. At the time of <br /> publication, figures were not available for listing in the article. Based on <br /> estimates available it is anticipated that a minimum of $173,851 will be used for <br /> this purpose. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 11. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available <br /> funds the sum of $3,000 to the Herring Warden Expense Account or take any <br /> other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Herring Warden <br /> i . <br /> Explanation: This article seeks funds for the reconstruction of the herring run <br /> ladder located at Santuit Pond <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Article 12. <br /> y <br /> To see if the Town will vote to establish under the provisions of Chapter 40C of j <br /> the Massachusetts General Laws, as amended by Chapter 359 of the Acts of 1971, <br /> a Historic District Study Committee for the traditional Mashpee Village Center. <br /> The study Committee shall consist of 7 members, which shall make an <br /> investigation and report on the significance of the Buildings, structures, features, <br /> sites or surroundings included in such proposed historic district, and shall submit <br /> a final report with its recommendations after a public hearing, together with a <br /> map of the proposed district and a draft of a proposed bylaw to Town Meeting, <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Page 5 <br />
