The Finance Committee, shall in addition to the foregoing,publish and deliver to the Clerk 500 copies <br /> of said warrant for distribution to the public at large on a first-come, first-serve basis," or take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Finance Committee <br /> Explanation: The article would change the existing requirement to provide a copy of the upcoming warrant to <br /> every household in Mashpee to a requirement that only households with at least one voter receive the warrant. <br /> The change is requested due to the high cost of distribution with the present requirement. <br /> i <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by J. Alexander Watt. <br /> Motion: I move Article 36 be voted as printed in the warrant, with the exception of the phrase, "or take any <br /> other action relating thereto." <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:52 p.m. <br /> i <br /> Article 37 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to transfer the care, custody,management and control of all or a portion of the <br /> Town land on which are currently located the Mashpee Fire and Police stations from the Board of Selectmen <br /> for general municipal purposes to the Board of Selectmen for the same general municipal purposes and also for <br /> the purpose of releasing whatever portion of said land the Selectmen deem appropriate for the purpose of <br /> settling the boundary line agreement with the owners of said abutting land separated from the Town land by <br /> Bates Road whereby some Town land may be released and some portion of the abutting land may be acquired <br /> by purchase, gift or eminent domain, as agreed upon between the Board of Selectmen and Mashpee Commons <br /> Limited Partnership and shown on a plan on file in the Town Clerk's office, or take any other action relating <br /> thereto. <br /> Explanation: This article seeks to approve a resolution to a boundary line problem as negotiated between the <br /> Board of Selectmen and Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership. j <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br />
