Memo <br /> To: Board of Selectmen <br /> From:Planning Board <br /> CC: Town Clerk <br /> Date: 03/03/00 <br /> Re: Town Meeting Zoning Articles <br /> The Planning Board requests that the Selectmen formally submit to the Planning <br /> Board, per the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, Section 5, any proposed zoning <br /> articles proposed for action at the May Town Meeting. <br /> Section 5 requires that the Planning Board hold a public hearing on the articles within <br /> 65 days of submission by the Selectmen. Town Meeting cannot act on the articles <br /> without such a hearing.
