'November 137 1989 Special Town Meeting r Article 30 To see if the Town will vote to delete Section 1.1.1 of Article 1.1 of the Town By-Laws and to replace as follows: 1 i Section 1.1.1 Annual Town Meetings and Election The Town will hold two regularly scheduled Annual Town u Meetings. The Spring Annual Town Meeting will be held the first Monday in May, and will address the Annual Town operating budget. The Fall Annual Town Meeting will be ` held the first Monday in October and will address any and all other business to come before Town Meeting. ` These meetings will be held at 7:30 p.m., at a place that shall be determined by the Selectmen. The Selectmen may insert in the warrant for the Annual Town Meetings all articles and/or petitions signed by ten or more legal voters which shall have been delivered to the Selectmen, the Town Clerk or both. Articles for the May Annual Town Meeting must be submitted the fust Monday in February each year. Articles for the October Annual Town must be submitted the second Monday in August each year. The Selectmen may insert in said warrant any article or articles received by them of said Monday in February and said Monday in August. Before calling a Special Town Meeting the Selectmen shall insert in a legal newspaper notice specifying the last day upon which articles to be inserted in the warrant for such meetings shall be presented to the Selectmen or Town Clerk. All articles submitted for inclusion in the warrant of any Town Meeting shall be printed or typewritten, in duplicate, and shall bear the same name of the sponsors. The Annual Town Election of Town Officers will be held the first Saturday in May immediately following the May Annual Town Meeting, at such place as determined by the Selectmen. motion carries. . . . . .9:31 P.M.
