Article 33 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to grant the Mashpee Water District an easement, upon such terms <br /> and conditions to be determined by the Board of Selectmen, for the purposes of constructing, <br /> accessing, and maintaining a water storage facility and related appurtenances, over and under <br /> a portion of that land owned by the Town of Mashpee and shown on Mashpee Assessors' Map <br /> 36, Parcel 53, Map 36, Parcel 35, and along Goodspeed's Meeting House Road to Main Street in <br /> accordance with plans on file with the Board of'Selectmen and the Mashpee Water District, or <br /> take any other action relating thereto. <br /> is <br /> Submitted by the Water District <br /> Explanation: The Mashpee Water District has requested this easement for the location of a <br /> second elevated tank. During the fall of 2000 the District completed an engineering study to <br /> find the best location for the tank. The district investigated eight separate parcels in the <br /> northeast area of town. After a review by the engineering firm and the Board of Water <br /> Commissioners, it was determined that this site was the most appropriate site both <br /> hydrologically and aesthetically. <br /> � 4 <br /> Motion to be made by Kenneth Marsters. <br /> I move Article 33 be voted as printed in the warrant, with the exception of the <br /> phrase, "or take any other action relating thereto".
