Article 16 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create the position of Deputy Director under the Massachusetts <br /> Laborers' District Council, Unit A, for the Department of Public Works, and further to raise and <br /> appropriate $68,915, with said funds to be distributed as follows: $60,000 to the DPW <br /> Salary/Wage Account, $8,445 to the Medical Insurance Account, $435 to the Medicare Account, <br /> and $35 to the Group Insurance Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Department of Public Works <br /> Explanation: With the expansion of town needs, the department needs a person to assist <br /> with procurement, project development and project management. During the past 10 years, <br /> the Town has added 76 additional roads to be maintained. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion to be made by John Cahalane.
