Article 17 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $275,000 <br /> for the Mashpee River Dredging Account, to be expended under the direction of the Board of <br /> Selectmen, for the purpose of dredging the Mashpee River, including all expenses incidental and <br /> relating thereto, including, but not limited to surveying, engineering, permitting, dredging, <br /> dredge material disposal, and site restoration, and further to determine whether to raise said <br /> appropriation by borrowing, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Waterways Commission ' <br /> Explanation: This article seeks funding to dredge approximately 18,000 cubic yards from the <br /> Mashpee River. Permits for dredging the Mashpee River are in the process of being obtained <br /> for the upcoming dredging season (November to March).
