Federal, State and/or County grants, to be applied by the Town toward the financing of this <br /> acquisition, and to enter into contracts or agreements with Federal, State and/or County <br /> agencies, municipalities, private conservation trusts or other entities or persons in connection <br /> with the acquisition and management of such land and its preservation for conservation purposes, <br /> including the grant of conservation restrictions on the land; and finally, that the Board of <br /> Selectmen is hereby authorized to enter into agreements and execute any and all instruments as <br /> may be necessary on behalf of the Town to effectuate said acquisition, or preservation. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:44 p.m. <br /> Article 6 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to rescind the authority to issue the following unissued balances of <br /> authorized bonds or notes pursuant to the votes adopted under Article 12 of the October 12, 2001 <br /> Town Meeting for$3,200,000 for land acquisition to the extent not previously exercised, or take <br /> any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article is for the purpose of rescinding loans authorized for land acquisition. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by David Leveille. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to rescind the authority to issue the unissued balance of <br /> $3,200,000 of bonds or notes authorized pursuant to the votes adopted under Article 12 of the <br /> October 12, 2001 Town Meeting for land acquisition to the extent not previously exercised. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:45 p.m. <br /> Town Meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. <br /> And you are hereby directed to serve this Warrant by posting up attested copies thereof, one at <br /> the Town Hall, one at the Post Office, and one each on the bulletin boards, thirty days at least <br /> before said meeting. <br /> Hereof fail not and make return of this Warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at <br /> the time and place of said meeting. <br /> Given under our hands this 1St day of February in the year of our Lord two thousand and two. <br /> Per order of, <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> John J.
