Article 6 To see if the Town will vote to approve the annual regional school district budget for the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, in the amount of$9,651,185, and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate $456,666 to meet its share of the cost of operation and maintenance of the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Treasurer Explanation: Mashpee's share of the Regional Technical High School budget is $456,666. There are 47 students from Mashpee at the Regional Technical High School. Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval of$445,961. Motion made by John Cahalane. Motion: I move the Town vote to approve the annual regional school district budget for the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002 in the amount of$9,651,185, and further, the Town vote to raise and appropriate $445,961 to meet its share of the cost of operation and maintenance of the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002. Motion passes at 8:19 p.m. Motion to reconsideration made at 8:19 p.m. Motion to reconsider passes 177 to 146 at 8:22 p.m. Motion to amend made by Edward Baker. Motion: I move that article six be voted as printed in the warrant, with the exception of the phrase or take any other action relating thereto. Amended motion passes at 8:23 p.m. Article 7 To see if the Town will vote to grant a 3 percent cost of living adjustment to the Personnel Administration Plan (P.A.P.) employees and Special Service Contract employees effective July 1,2002,with said funds to be distributed by the Town Accountant, or take any other action relating thereto.
