Motion passes at 8:47 p.m. <br /> r <br /> Article 4 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to instruct its representative in the General Court to file a home rule <br /> petition for a special act entitled, "An Act Confirming and Ratifying Prior Payments by the <br /> Town of Mashpee of Health Insurance Premiums for Town Retirees and Surviving Spouses of <br /> Town Employees and Retirees,"to read as follows: <br /> SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, payments of 75% of <br /> the health insurance premiums for town retirees and surviving spouses of town employees and <br /> retirees that have been made by the Town of Mashpee are hereby confirmed and ratified. <br /> `fh <br /> SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. f3 <br /> The General Court may only make clerical or editorial changes of form to the bill, unless thei <br /> Board of Selectmen approves amendments to the bill before enactment by the General Court. <br /> 5 <br /> The Board of Selectmen is hereby authorized to approve amendments, which shall be within the <br /> scope of the general public objectives of this petition; or take any other action relating thereto.
