Motion passes at 8:59 p.m. Article 6 To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Leisure Service Revolving Account through the Town Accountant's Office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 44, Section 53E '/2, to be expended under the direction of the Leisure Service Department, in order to place revenues collected from the various Leisure Services Child Development Programs, which shall be used for the purpose of paying wages and benefits to conduct said Leisure Service programs, r and to establish the limit on expenditures from said account for Fiscal Year 2004 at $37,267, or take any other action relating thereto. i i Submitted by the Leisure Services Department I Explanation: This revolving account is required in order to receive and disburse funds generated through programs supported by such revolving fund. Revenues must be used to offset ! expenses of these programs. Leisure Services through its agent will manage this account. Submitted by the Department of Public Works Explanation: This .article authorizes the use of funds to be 100% reimbursed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. These revenues are the apportioned State gas tax back to the cities and towns. The level of funding of 1998 is anticipated to be the total funds available to Mashpee in FY 04. 13
