Article 3 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate or transfer from available funds $35,060 to fund a contract between the Town and SEN, Local 888, Clerical and DPW Units for the period beginning July 1, 2004, funds to be distributed to various salary line accounts by the Town Accountant, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation: This article is placed on the warrant to provide funding for a contract between the Town and SEIU, Local 888, Clerical and DPW Units. Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Wayne Taylor. Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from Revenue Available for Appropriation $33,580 to fund a contract between the Town and SEN, Local 888, DPW Unit for the period beginning July 1, 2004 and vote to appropriate and transfer $26,195 to fund a contract between the Town and SEIU, Local 888, Clerical Unit to be distributed to various salary line item accounts by the Town Accountant. I' Motion passes unanimously at 7:51 p.m. ' Article 4 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $48,243 to fund the Personnel Administration Plan (P.A.P.) Appendix B and Appendix C employees, Plumbing and Wiring Inspectors, and Special Service Contracts effective July 1, 2004, with said funds to be distributed to various salary line items by the Town Accountant, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Personnel Department Explanation: If passed, this article will grant a cost of living adjustment for Fiscal Year 2005 to employees whose positions are classified under the Town's Personnel Administration Plan, and fund Special Service Contracts. Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Kenneth Marsters. Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from Revenue Available for Appropriation $48,243 to fund the Personnel Administration Plan (P.A.P.) Appendix B and Appendix C employees.; Plumbing and Wiring Inspectors, and Special Service Contracts effective July 1, 2004, with said funds to be distributed to various salary line items by the Town Accountant.
