TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> e , TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Randal R.- & Ruth K. Ough for a Variance Case #V-83-6-021 <br /> A Petition was filed by Mr. & Mrs. Ough of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Variance to vary the minimum front setback required on property <br /> located at 375 Scituate Road, Timberland Shores, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee on May17, and May 24, 1983 a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, June 1 , 1983, at 7:30 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: Virginia T. Landry, Manuel E. Costa Jr. and Michael <br /> Makunas. <br /> Mr. Ough explained 'to the Board,that he has recently sold the <br /> property located at 375 Scituate Road, only to find that a Variance <br /> would be required to clear the title as during the period before Mr. <br /> Ough bought the said property from The Merchants Bank the front <br /> setback requirement had changed from 30 to 40 feet. Mr. Ough also <br /> stated that he obtained a new building permit to finish the property <br /> ` in March of 78, and was told by the Building Inspector that a Variance <br /> would not be necessary. <br />
