West III for a Variance - Case #V-82-06-015 <br /> A Petition was filed by James G. West III, of Mashpee, Ma. , for a <br /> Variance requesting permission to vary the minimum sideline requirement <br /> to enable construction of an addition to existing property located on <br /> 21 Lakewood,Drive, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws, Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of <br /> Mashpee, on May 18, 1982 and May 25, 1982, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, June 2, 1982, at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> Michael A. Makunas, Manuel E. Costa and Virginia T. Landry. <br /> Mr. James West made the presentation to the Board, explaining his inten- <br /> tion to construct an addition to the existing house within 5 feet of the <br /> southerly line and within 11 feet of the northerly line, in accordance <br /> with the plot pian on file with the application. <br /> Upon a motion duly made and seconded the Board voted unanimously <br /> to grant the request for a Variance as requested by the Petitioner. <br />
