TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> REt Petition of Chase Ballou Retail Systems for a Special <br /> Permit Case #SP-84-6-031 <br /> I <br /> A Petition was filed by Chase Ballou Retail Systems <br /> of Lenox, Massachusetts for a Special Permit for permission <br /> to operate a Men' s and Women<s clothing store on property <br /> located at Deer Crossing, Route 28, Mashpee;• 'Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given <br /> by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on June 6, 1984 <br /> and June 13, 1984 a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on. the petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall on Wednesday, June 20, 1984, at 7 :30 p.m. at which <br /> time the following members of the Board of Appeals were <br /> present and acting throughout, Manuel Costa, William Hanrahan, <br /> Peter Muse. <br /> Mr. Cartel explained to the Board that this business has <br /> been operating in Lenox for about $ years. He and his wife <br /> visited the. store there and were quite pleased with the <br /> quality of the store. <br />
