TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEAIS <br /> 5 TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> P� DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Thomas F. Sexton for Variance Case #V-85-07-037 <br /> A petition was filed by Thomas F. Sexton of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Variance for permission to vary the sideline requirements in an <br /> R2 zoning district on property located on Lot 93, Leeshore Drive also <br /> know as Leesmore Drive, South Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee on July 10, 1985 and July 17, 1985 a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the;'Ipetition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, July 24, 1985 at 7 :30 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout, William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Cheryl Hawver. <br /> Mr. Sexton explained that he needed a variance of 4. 8 feet. <br /> The house was built in 1975-76 and Mr. Sexton owned it when it was <br /> added on to. Mr. Sexton provided the Board with a copy of the <br /> building permit dated 1979. Mr. Sexton said that at that time an <br /> r engineered plan was not required, it simply was staked out. A builder <br /> from Marlboro staked out the addition and the building inspector came <br /> out and approved it. <br />
