r TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> a TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> ' DECISION <br /> rgg co- <br /> RE: Petition of Jean Canning & P&H Trust for a Variance Case <br /> #V-85-08-049 <br /> A petition was filed by Jean Canning & P&H Trust for a Variance <br /> for permission to erect a sign and fence in a C-1 zoning district on <br /> property located on Route 28 and Shellback Way, Mashpee, Massachusetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee on July 31 , 1985 and August 7, 1985, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> w A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, August 14, 1985, at 7 :30 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout : William Hanrahan, Manuel Costa and Michael Makunas. <br /> On August 14, 1985 a continuance was requested in writing which <br /> the Board motioned to accept at this time. On October 9, 1985, Mr. <br /> Grosetti came before the Board with plans for the signs that had been <br /> approved by the Design Review Committee on September 4, 1985. After <br /> looking over the plans the Board saw no problems with granting the <br /> r <br /> sign variances for both signs. It was noted at this time that Mr. <br /> Costa had originally sat for this hearing and was not present to vote. <br /> It was decided that Ms. Hawver vote in Mr. Costa' s absence as the <br /> time period for this application was running out. <br /> s <br />
